An excellent filling pie with cabbage I have been cooking for a very long time: the prescription for me was transferred from my grandmother. A cake with sour cream with fresh cabbage turns out very tasty, incredibly soft and delicate - every bit literally melts in the mouth. Such a batch is prepared very quickly: it takes only a few minutes to cut cabbage and knead the dough. A delicate, soft and fragrant cake with cabbage is delicious both in warm and cold. Serve homemade pastries for tea or coffee - it's so appetizing that the pie with cabbage will disappear from the table before it cools.


For the test:

  • 200 grams of sour cream;
  • 3 fresh chicken eggs;
  • 100 grams of flour;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 0.3 teaspoon of salt.

For filling:

  • 500 grams of fresh cabbage;
  • 50 grams of sausage or ham;
  • one head of onions;
  • 50 grams of butter;
  • 0.3 teaspoon of salt;
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame seeds;
  • black ground pepper to taste.

  1. We start preparing the pie from the filling. Fresh white cabbage finely shred (we can use a knife or shredder) and put it in a deep bowl.

  5. Mix flour with baking powder and sift into a bowl with eggs.
  6. We knead the dough: it should not turn out to be as thick as a pancake.
  7. The bottom of the split form is covered with parchment paper, abundantly lubricating the bottom and sides with butter.
  8. At the bottom of the form lay half the cabbage, sprinkle it with pieces of sausage, then spread the rest of the cabbage.
  9. On a layer of cabbage we lay out pieces of butter and fill it with dough.
  10. The dough is leveled with a spatula. A little twist the shape, so that the dough is distributed over the filling.
  11. Sprinkle a jellied pie with cabbage seeds of sesame seeds.
  12. We put the cake in a preheated oven up to 180 degrees. We bake for 40-50 minutes, we check the readiness with a wooden stick.
  13. We take the prepared pie with cabbage from the oven and let it cool down for a while.
