Today we will be preparing something special, namely a sauce with greens and garlic. I add this, well, very tasty sauce, absolutely to any dishes. Sometimes I even just smear on bread and eat such a peculiar sandwich. I learned about this simple recipe quite by accident. On the day of the birth of a friend, we were served with gorgeous chicken meat with this sauce - and I fell in love! This gentle taste of baked meat and the freshness of dill sauce with garlic I will remember forever. Therefore, if you want, like me, to fall in love with the finest sauce with lemon juice, then we will not waste time and get down to it!



  • chopped dill - 2 cups;
  • lemon - 1 piece;
  • garlic - 10 denticles;
  • olive oil - 100 milliliters;
  • salt - to taste.

  1. Very finely chop dill.
  2. Fold it in a large clean bowl.
  3. Garlic cloves chop finely into cubes, and add garlic to a bowl with dill.
  4. In a bowl with the above ingredients on a fine grater, rub lemon peel.
  5. Do not forget that before you grate the zest, lemon should be thoroughly washed. Better yet, scald with boiling water so that all microbes disappear and do no harm to your health.
  6. In a bowl squeeze out the juice of half a lemon and taste salt.
  7. Pour olive oil and mix gently.
  8. If olive oil is not available, you can always add the usual sunflower: but then the taste of the sauce will not be so bright and memorable.
  9. All the ingredients are ground with a blender.
  10. By the way, the sauce does not need to be ground to a very homogeneous mass: we do this to grind and mix the ingredients. If you do not get too homogeneous mass, then it's okay.
  11. And one more piece of advice! If you do not have a blender, you can grind the olive oil sauce in a mortar with a pestle.
  12. Ready sauce is added to the dish or stored in a jar.

As you can see, the sauce with greens and garlic is cooked very quickly. You do not need to own special culinary knowledge to cook this gorgeous sauce with fresh taste. Another advantage of this recipe is the long shelf life. You can cook a large amount of garlic sauce and store it in your refrigerator for a long time: namely, a few months from the date of preparation. But the advantages of dill sauce do not end there.
