Hot sandwiches with onions not only sate, but will also give strength for new culinary experiments. You will spend only 10 minutes of your time - and a delicious dish will decorate your table. Ingredients:

  • six slices of a loaf;
  • bulb;
  • bottom of the egg;
  • one teaspoon of wheat flour;
  • hard cheese;
  • salt to taste.

  1. The main ingredient in the preparation of toast is the onion. If you have a large bulb, then take one, and if small - two. Peel the onions from the husk and chop finely with a knife.
  2. Take a small container (in my case it is a deep bowl), break the egg into it, add salt to taste and shake well with a fork.
  3. Hard cheese to grate on an average grater (it is possible to grate and on a large grater).
  4. In the chopped onion, grated cheese and flour add a liquid egg. Mix well (I still really like it when you add a bit of black ground pepper).
  5. For the basis, we need six slices of a loaf (I use a French loaf, and you can take any loaf or even you can take white bread).
  6. For each slice of the loaf, put the onion filling (I do not put a lot of stuffing, but a lot).
  7. Frying pan with vegetable oil (you can use butter) to put on the stove and, when the oil is warmed up well, put the onion croutons in a frying pan. Fry toast on a small fire (on a small fire so that the filling is well fried and not burned) on both sides for a couple of minutes (until light, golden color).

Tip: look, if you start to fry the croutons and the filling disappears from the loaf, then add one more egg. The amount of filling depends on how many hot sandwiches you want to cook. It is best to eat the toast in a hot state.
