For a vegetable salad, the recipe of which I'm offering you, the nut sauce suits just perfectly. Ideally suitable for the Georgian sauce are walnuts: if possible, choose special oily varieties with a white core. Vegetable salad without mayonnaise, with a nut dressing - it's not only insanely delicious, but also very useful.

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of tomatoes;
  • 250 grams of cucumbers;
  • 150 grams of sweet pepper;
  • 150 grams of salad;
  • red salad onion - 80 grams (one small head);
  • greens - if desired.
  • For refueling:
  • 50 grams of walnuts;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 1 teaspoon of salt;
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar;
  • hops-suneli - 1 teaspoon.

Prepare the walnut Georgian sauce: with it, any dish becomes a masterpiece.

  1. First, in a mortar, grind 2 cloves of garlic.
  2. Then we also send walnuts, salt and hops-suneli, thoroughly rubbed.
  3. If there is no mortar, then the garlic can be squeezed through the press, and the nuts can be ground in a coffee grinder. Then mix everything well.
  4. We pour in white wine vinegar, mix it. We give time to brew.
  5. The nut filling is ready.

We prepare a salad of fresh vegetables.

  1. We cut fresh cucumbers (it is better to use salad, with small seeds) thin circles.
  2. Tomatoes are cut into 4 parts, and then into small pieces.
  3. We cut the red Bulgarian pepper into small cubes.
  4. Salad onion shredded thin semirings.
  5. Mix the vegetables with the nut dressing. If necessary, salt.
  6. Leave the salad for 10 minutes at room temperature, so that it is saturated with a rich flavor of the sauce.
  7. At will, we add in any vegetable salad any chopped greens or leaves of a green salad (to tear on average pieces by hands).
