An excellent snack on the festive table is a spicy marinated carrot for the whole winter. Carrots for this recipe marinated entirely, and of course you can serve it on the table without cutting it. Ingredients:

  • Carrots - 1 kilogram;
  • garlic - 2-3 heads;
  • vegetable oil - 1 glass;
  • a pod of bitter pepper.

For marinade:

  • Water - 1 liter;
  • salt - 1 tablespoon;
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons;
  • acetic essence 80% - 2 tablespoons.

Step-by-step recipe for marinated carrots for the whole winter

  1. A young carrot up to 10 centimeters long soak for 10-15 minutes in cold water, then wash well.
  2. Then carrots are tested in hot water (90 ° C) for 2-3 minutes, cool in cold water.
  3. To the prepared carrot add crushed garlic, pepper (peeled from seeds) and calcined vegetable oil.
  4. Stir and place the mixture in sterile sterilized jars.
  5. Prepare marinade from water, salt, sugar and acetic essence. Boil everything, but add the vinegar essence, when it boils.
  6. Pour hot jars of marinade with carrots and put them sterilized for 30 minutes.
  7. After sterilization, roll up the lids immediately. Cool by air.

Marinated carrots for the whole winter can still be used for cooking and decorating various salads, all sorts of second courses.
