For beet dye:

  • beets - 215-230 grams;
  • water - 50-100 milliliters;
  • lemon juice - 1/2 tablespoon.

For the test:

  • flour - 300 grams;
  • dye from beet - 150 milliliters;
  • vegetable oil - 10 grams;
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon.

For filling:

  • minced pork - 100 grams;
  • minced beef - 100 grams;
  • Shnits onions (green onions) - 40 grams;
  • onions - 70 grams;
  • garlic - 3 cloves;
  • oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon;
  • sesame oil - 1 tablespoon;
  • Mirin wine - 1 tablespoon;
  • salt and pepper - to taste.

Very tasty colored dumplings for a couple. Step-by-step cooking

  1. Let's start with the dye for the dough. Take dark red beets to make a bright shade. When working with beets, wear gloves. It is necessary to grind the beets. You can do this in a blender, or you can grate it. If the beet is not rich enough, you can add a little water. The shredded vegetable should be placed in a saucepan, add lemon juice and welded literally for 5 minutes over a small fire.
  2. Now you need to strain the beets through a sieve or gauze. Our dye is ready.
  3. We make a dough. In a bowl we sift the flour, add salt, mix everything well, so that the salt is distributed evenly, we infuse the beetroot liquid and vegetable oil. And knead the dough. It should turn out to be dense, as for ordinary dumplings. If you knead well - the dough will become elastic and pleasant to the touch.
  4. We remove the finished dough into a bag and put it in the refrigerator for about half an hour.

  6. We put the stuffing in a container, cut the green and onions, add to the stuffing. There we also add garlic, wine, sesame oil and oyster sauce. Solim, pepper and mix well.   7. The dough is rested, we divide it into 2 parts and roll the first half into a thin layer, approximately 1 mm thick. We take the shape of a diameter of 7 mm and cut out the circles. Remove the trimming and then make them also circles.
  8. We make dumplings. We need 4 circles. We take the first, we moisten its edge with water, we overlap the second, and so with all four. You should get a caterpillar. Stuffing we put strip in the middle. Cut the edges of the dough with water again. Now add the circles in half and join the edges. The resultant strip is rolled up with a roll, the tail is smeared with water and glued. It turns out a rose.
