I like to cook this casserole with minced meat in the oven: simply and quickly - and it turns potato casserole always beautiful, fragrant, with a golden ruddy crust. Ingredients:

  • 600 grams of potatoes;
  • 100 grams of hard cheese;
  • 5 tablespoons of sour cream;
  • 1 fresh chicken egg;

  1. Let's prepare the mince for the casserole. In minced meat (I use homemade, from beef and pork), let's pass through the press two cloves of garlic (you can grate and on a fine grater). Add salt (according to the recipe) and pepper to taste. Mix well with your hands. We put it aside.
  2. Peeled and washed onions cut into thin quarter rings.
  3. Potatoes are cleaned, washing and cut into thin circles (it is better to use medium-sized potatoes).
  4. Hard cheese (of any kind) is rubbed on a fine grater.
  5. We prepare the fill. In a bowl, break a fresh chicken egg, pour half of cheese, sour cream and salt (according to the recipe). The first is pouring for potato casserole (to taste) and mix well.
  6. The form (I have a glass rectangular heat-resistant) is lubricated with a brush with vegetable oil.
  7. We put beautifully into the mold half of the potatoes (in two layers). Lubricate half the sour cream filling.
  8. Put the whole minced meat on the potatoes, level it.
  9. Sprinkle onion onion, and on it we spread the remaining potatoes (one layer). Fill it with sour cream.
  10. Cover the form with foil and send it to the oven heated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil, sprinkle the casserole with the remaining cheese and send it back to the oven: at a temperature of 160 degrees, prepare another 15 minutes.
