Madly I love citrus pastries, so I propose to cook together with me the most delicious lemon cake. The dessert is slightly moist, slightly crumbly, with a unique lemon scent - and incredibly tasty. Lemon pie - an ideal option for those who love fine cuisine, especially since it is very easy and simple to prepare it. Especially attractive is the sour lemon pie in the summer heat: after all, the lemon perfectly quenches thirst. The creation of the masterpiece is inspired by the sourness of juicy lemons and the dizzying smell of citrus.


  • 2 lemons;
  • 150 grams of granulated sugar;
  • 4 fresh chicken eggs;
  • 180 grams of butter;
  • 10 grams of baking powder;
  • 250 grams of wheat flour.

For the sweet:

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice;
  • 6 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

In addition: a piece of butter or a non-stick emulsion to lubricate the mold.

  1. In the saucepan, melt the butter (on a small fire) and leave to cool.
  2. With two lemons we remove the zest (only its yellow part, do not touch the white layer, it will be bitter).
  3. Then we remove the lemons from the peel, remove the bones from them.
  4. We shift the lemons and zest into the blender bowl, crush it in puree.
  5. Sift flour together with a baking powder into a deep bowl.
  6. In a separate bowl, drive 4 eggs, beat the mixer to the splendor one minute.
  7. We add sugar to the eggs (according to the recipe) and continue to beat until the sugar dissolves (about two minutes).
  8. In the egg mixture pour the cooled melted butter. Mix with a mixer.
  9. Add the same lemon puree, mix again.
  10. In a liquid mixture we pour out two meals of flour, stirring everything with a spoon.
  11. Form for baking (I have a diameter of 24 centimeters) grease with butter or non-stick emulsion (how to do it, look at my channel).
  12. Pour the dough into the mold, put the oven in a preheated oven to 180 degrees. We bake a lemon pie for 35-40 minutes. The pie is ready, as always, with a wooden skewer.
  13. We take out the cake from the mold, let it cool down.
  14. At this time, we'll cook the sweets. In a bowl, spread sugar powder (according to the recipe), pour lemon juice, mix well.
  15. Cool the pie with a sweet, smooth.
  16. We decorate the fragrant cake with lemon wedges and mint sprigs.
