On your court I want to present my homemade recipe for the cake "Monastic Hut". This recipe is more than 30 years old. I cooked it for my daughter's birthday. Now the daughter is preparing for her son's birthday. None of the guests leave before waiting for dessert. Cake "Monastic Hut" is a pleasure!

- sugar - 1 cup;
- sour cream - 1 glass;
- margarine - 250 grams;
- flour - 4 glasses;
- soda - 0,5 tablespoon;
- prunes - 200 grams;
- walnuts - 200 grams;
- poppy - 100 grams.

The cake "Monastery Hut". Step-by-step recipe
- Separate yolks from proteins (we cool the proteins in the refrigerator) and rub with sugar.
- Melt and cool the margarine.
- Mix yolks, margarine, sour cream.
- Add soda, extinguished with vinegar, flour.
- Knead the dough.
- Divide into 28 balls.
- We put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- We get out of the refrigerator and roll out each ball 20-25 centimeters long and 3-4 centimeters wide.
- Preparing the filling.
- Cut nuts with a knife.
- Soak prunes in warm water for 15-20 minutes, then strain and cut into small straws.
- Poppy pour boiling water and let it brew for 20-25 minutes.
- Drain the water along with the poppy seeds on the gauze, which must be put in a colander, and allow to settle until the poppy dries completely. Dry the poppy mixed with sugar.
- On the rolled dough we put in turn the prepared stuffing. There will be 9 logs with prunes, 9 logs with nuts, 10 logs with poppy seeds.
- Fold the tubes and bake in a preheated to 180 degrees oven for 15 minutes.
- We make the cream: put the sour cream on the gauze, which is covered with a colander, and leave it for 5-6 hours in a cold place, so that excess serum leaves.
- Prepared sour cream to beat with sugar.
- We take a big dish, we lubricate the bottom with cream.
- We begin to build a hut: we put the first 7 logs with different fillings and grease sour cream.
- Then 6 logs are sour cream, and so on until the logs run out.
- The whole cake should be covered with sour cream.
- We beat the squirrels, decorate them with the side parts of the hut.
- Sprinkle the top with grated chocolate.
The cake should be infused for 24 hours so that it soaks well. We serve to the table, cutting off each guest in a piece! Everyone will be delighted! The taste is inexpressible. Take my word for it, you will not find such a recipe on the Internet. It's exclusive!
