By Sunday tea brewed a stunned zebra pie: soft, porous, airy and incredibly beautiful - he conquered the hearts of all my household members. The original name for a homemade pie was obtained because of the similarity of the pattern with the strips of a zebra. The traditional recipe for pie on sour cream passed to me from my grandmother - it's a classic, tested not by one generation. I suggest you also pamper your relatives with wonderful pastries: I am sure that your homeland will appreciate the unmatched appearance of the Zebra cake and its unique taste.
- 230 grams of flour + 20 grams for white dough;
- 200 grams of sour cream 10-15% of fat content;
- 4 fresh chicken eggs;
- 100 grams of butter;
- 0.5 teaspoon of salt;
- 1 teaspoon baking powder;
- 20 grams of cocoa powder;
- 250 grams of granulated sugar;
- 0.5 grams of vanillin;
- 0.3 teaspoon of salt.
- 50 grams of milk chocolate;
- 20 grams of butter;
- 30 milliliters of milk.
Awesome cake "Zebra". Step-by-step recipe
- In the flour add soda, baking powder and a little vanilla (according to the recipe), sift through a sieve into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, drive in eggs, add the sugar, whisk the mixer at maximum speed (2-3 minutes).
- Add sour cream to the egg mixture and melted (but already cooled) butter. Mix the mixer at the lowest speed.
- Without stopping whipping, add small portions of flour (on a tablespoon). The ready dough is slightly thicker than the pancake.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts: one add 20 grams of cocoa, and the other - 20 grams of flour.
- In both bowls, mix the dough with a spoon until smooth.
- The form (at me demountable, in diameter 22 centimeters) we cover with parchment paper and we grease with vegetable oil.
- Start spreading the dough, alternating it: 3 tablespoons of white, then 3 tablespoons of dough with cocoa (you can spread and 2 spoons, and 4). We continue this process until the dough is over.
- We make a wooden skewer: we draw the strips first in one direction, then in the other. In more detail, you can see this process on my video under the recipe.
- We send the form with a pie "Zebra" in a preheated oven to 180 degrees, for 40-45 minutes.
- We let the prepared pie on sour cream stand for 15 minutes, take off the form, turn it over on a dish, take out the paper.
- At this time, prepare the glaze: in a bowl, add pieces of chocolate, pour milk, add butter at room temperature.
- We cook on a water bath, with constant stirring, until the chocolate dissolves.
- Warm glaze decorate the home pie, leveling it on the vertex and making smudges.
- We wait until the icing is cooled, and we serve the homemade cake on the table.
